March 11, 2018, 2:15pm. Grand Theft. 25-year-old Caucasian male, 56, was captured on camera handling items from a locked jewelry case. The items in question were missing following this interaction, leading the sales staff to alert the Loss Prevention Officer to find these missing items. After reviewing the story security footage, the officer was able to identify and locate the suspect and bring him in for questioning. While in custody, the suspect denied having stolen any merchandise. Following standard procedures, the Loss Prevention Officer searched the suspect, leading to the discovery of one of the missing items. A strip search and cavity search was then conducted to look for additional items. An understanding was reached by the suspect and the Loss Prevention Officer, and he was released without involvement of law enforcement. $9000. value recovered for the store without incident.
