I mean it IS in its final season.Surprisingly NO. Mad Men only got one lousy nomination. Sorry Don Drpgr Instead everyone_s favorite badass TV cowboy is getting some well-deserved TV love Here are the highlightsWelcome inside my box. FX drama Justified is leading the way at this year_s Critics Choice Awards The show starring Timothy Olyphant as US Marshal Raylan Givens finished its sixth and FINAL season a few weeks ago. Justified and HBO mini-series Olive Kitteridge both landed five nominations apiece. It_s been a great year for HBO which garnered a network leading 27 nominations thanks to hit shows like Girls Veep and Silicon Valley. The big show will air on A&E at 8pm eastern time May 31stConan O_Brien_s late night show is heading to San Diego to film from Comic Con. The show will even adjust its broadcast schedule to air on the Saturday. Not everyone is on board with the schedule change though. You can catch Conan bring both worlds together at Comic-Con this July.Watch out Kim Kanye may be getting his own TV show. The CEO of Vice announced this week that the media company is in talks with the rapper to host his own series on their upcoming cable channel. Little known fact: besides appearing on his wife Kim_s show The Kardashians Kayne also starred in a pilot for a hip-hop puppet show called Alligator Boots. Somehow the show didn_t get picked up.Steven Spielberg_s Amblin TV will produce a show for the Syfy channel based on the classic futuristic novel Brave New World. Set in the year 2540 the outwardly perfect existence of society is offset by a rebellion from an outsider. Spielberg_s Amblin TV previously paired with Syfy on the Emmy-award winning alien miniseries Taken.And the longest running series in television history is about to get a little longer. The Simpsons has been renewed for two more years bringing the total episode count to a whopping 625. The show still averages 6.2 million viewers an episode but I doubt that there_s anyone out there who hasn_t seen one. And on a side note and not to toot our own HORN or anything but Naked News TV is currently working on episode Seven Hundred and Thirteen. Just sayin.
