It_s true Carli we all know automated cars aren_t too far off but self-driving trucks are right behind em. A car I can see but a self driving truck sort of makes me nervous. Don_t worry there_s still a person behind the wheel but it COULD have a lot of benefits. Here_s the story. Freightliner has gotten a license to test out self-driving tractor-trailer trucks in Nevada. As I mentioned there_s still someone behind the wheel but since the truck_s computer does most of the driving that person can focus on other tasks like planning the next pickup. Automated trucks could also save big on fuel costs by driving in a tight formation along highways with one right behind the other. The robotic big-rigs look to be the future of highway transport. This badass tank should be familiar to anyone who_s seen the new Mad Max movie. It_s ironically called the Peacemaker and it was custom-built and designed for the blockbuster flick. Hard to believe that this mean machine can reach a top speed of 70 miles per hour It_s all thanks to its monstrous thousand horsepower engine. If you happen to see one out on the road do NOT make the driver angryMaserati has been teasing us with details about its new SUV the Levante for what feels like forever. But it looks like it_ll finally make its debut at the Detroit Motor Show next year. An early version of the vehicle first appeared in 2011 and the company has been tweaking the design ever since. The only thing we know for sure is that the price will range from 80000 to 150000 dollars. Here_s proof that flying cars MIGHT not be such a great idea after all. This photo shows an AeroMobil prototype that crashed during a test flight in Slovakia. Luckily it_s inventor and pilot managed to parachute to safety when things went wrong. No one was hurt but you can imagine the carnage if this thing had come down over a crowded urban area instead of a wide open field.
