Whitney the Russian soccer team could be facing sanctions thanks to the bad behavior of its fans. Following Saturday_s match against England Russian supporters charged and attacked a section of English spectators. This followed several days of fighting in the streets of Marseille by fans of the teams. The Union of European Football Associations is also looking into allegations of racist behavior and the use of fireworks by the Russians. A decision on sanctions is scheduled for Tuesday. Fines are expected and there_s a possibility of disqualification looming if the violence continues. A home-made bomb went off at one of China_s busiest airports over the weekend. Four people were injured at Pudong International Airport in Shanghai on Sunday. According to police a 29-year-old man filled a beer bottle with explosives and threw it near the check-in counters. He then took a knife and attempted suicide. He_s currently in hospital in critical condition. And a controversial new study has some surprising findings about high cholesterol: it DOESN_T cause heart disease and might in fact be good for you The study involving 70 thousand people found that among those 60 and older WITH high cholesterol over 90 per cent lived as long or longer than those without. The team behind the study also suggested that cholesterol may in fact help fight other diseases including cancer That said the study has its share of critics. There are questions about the survey_s methodology and skeptics say that more dominant health factors among the elderly make the effects of cholesterol harder to track. So I_d say the jury is still out Whitney but maybe we don_t have to feel as bad when we_re eating eggsLucky for me I_m a vegan so I don_t really have to worry about it.
