To listen to the partners of the firm they say everything_s been done above board and by the book. Here_s what went down. Mossack Fonseca the Panama based law firm behind the Panama Papers has been raided by police Panama_s attorney general reported that investigators were looking for documentation linked to the illicit activities detailed in the leaked papers. President Juan Carlos Varela recently pledged to improve the transparency of its offshore banking industry in response to the scandal. A message posted on the firm_s official Twitter account Tuesday stated that the company would continue to co-operate with authorities. In a major turnaround North Carolina officials have agreed to CHANGE parts of the controversial HB2 law Governor Pat McCrory announced Tuesday that based on feedback from the public he would EXTEND employment protection to include gay and transgender persons. However the requirement for people to use public toilets based on their gender at birth would remain in place. The move follows a high profile backlash from business interests and civil rights groups in response to the law_s discriminatory practices. And Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has revealed a 10-year company plan to achieve global domination The proposals revealed at Facebook_s annual developer_s conference this week include everything from robot customer service reps to using pilot-less planes to bring the Internet-and of course Facebook-to developing parts of the world.
