Here is Angie Heyward with a Naked News bulletin. Ecuador_s Cotopaxi volcano has begun erupting for the first time in more than 70 years. Officials declared a state of emergency after hot ash began shooting out of the 20 thousand foot elevation on Friday. Cotopaxi is considered one of the world_s most dangerous volcanoes, due to its fast-moving rock and mud flow AND it_s proximity to the capital of Quito, where more than 2 and half MILLION people could be at risk.We_re still sweltering under the steamy summer heat, but relief is coming in the form of a FREEZING cold winter The Old Farmer_s Almanac is predicting plunging temperatures across the US, with above normal snowfall starting in December. Even milder areas like the Pacific Northwest could be in for a frosty treat. Before you start stockpiling hot chocolate, keep in mind that the Old Farmer_s Almanac is only correct about 50 percent of the timeAnd Mother Nature isn_t done yet El Nino is back and ALREADY breaking records. Officials are predicting the weather event will bring some of the WORST conditions in more than 65 years. Temperatures in the Pacific Ocean are already higher than 1997_s devastating season and the warm water mass is bigger and deeper this time. El Nino is capable of influencing EXTREME weather patterns causing flooding, mudslides, and droughts across the Americas and much of Asia.
