ROXIE RAE is a waitress at her dads restaurant and as of right now she is the only employee unbeknownst to her, as her step-dad is trying to save money. ROXIE has been working a really long shift as the scene opens with her in the kitchen tired from so much work. ROXIE is just informed all the employees have been fired and responds trying to understand and be more help but she's about to fall resting. More and more tables are being sat and ROXIE is told to get back to work. ROXIE limps in her HIGH HEELS and SHORT SHORTS to her first table taking the order and making small talk. ROXIE is visibly tired but pulls it off. When ROXIE comes back to the kitchen she LIMPS, SHIFTING her WEIGHT on her HIGH HEELS and pulling her FEET in and out of her SHOES. ROXIE delivers the order almost stumbling but hoping she will give the next table better service. ROXIE hobbles over to the next table and does this over and over to different customers getting more tired and achy by the second. ROXIE has worked too long and hard but she has to keep making money for her step-father. ROXIE becomes visibly disheveled as time goes on with her hair getting more messed up, her FEET hurting more, and her make up running. ROXIE finally makes it back to the kitchen leaning and napping for a minute against her fridge. ROXIE has BAND AIDS all over her FEET when she is awoken. ROXIE begs for a little time to rest and shows off her HURT FEET, she even thinks she has a SPRAINED ANKLE. ROXIE is finally granted a few minutes to rest and take her HIGH HEEL SHOES off bu then it's back to work for ROXIE RAE.March 06, 2022
