It turns out THIS chess Grand Master wasn_t so brilliant about his CHEATING strategy. Here_s Angie to explain. Chess IS a game of strategy and brilliance. Players assess their opponent_s moves examine every option and anticipate multiple moves ahead. In the Renaissance and Middle ages the nobles often played and the game was even used to teach strategy for war. It_s a board game and yet most people could name at least a couple of its top players. Truly chess is a noble game.Until now. Georgian champion and grand Master Gaioz Nigalidze is accused of CHEATING at the Dubai Open Chess Tournament. And not just cheating - cheating in the DUMBEST way possible. After many of his moves he_d run to the bathroom raising the suspicion of his opponent Armenian Tigran Petrosian. Particularly since each visit took longer then normal AND he kept using the same stall. But after Petrosian complained to officials they searched that stall and found an iPhone wrapped in toilet paper hidden behind the toilet.Nigalidze denied it was his phone. But it had a chess app that was analyzing the very game he was playing Oh and it was also logged into his social networking site. So. yeah. So much for being witness to the ultimate test of cerebral fitness. Nigalidze was turfed from the tourney and faces a three year ban from ALL tournaments. But if he_s found to be a repeat offender he could be banned for FIFTEEN years.I just want to know how someone could POSSIBLY have thought that going to the bathroom multiple times for a long PERIOD of time would go unnoticed. But no he cheated the DUMBEST way short of writing moves on the palms of his hands. And for THAT Gaioz Nigalidze is our Grand Master Boob of the Week check and mate. For Naked News I_m Angie Heyward.
