Kat Bowe Bergdahl has officially been charged with desertion. The Pentagon announced on Wednesday that Bergdahl had intentionally deserted his post before falling into the hands of terrorists in Afghanistan. Bergdahl also faces a charge of misbehavior before the enemy - which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison. Bergdahl_s saga drew international headlines last May when he became the centerpiece of a prisoner swap that saw US officials release five Taliban commanders from Guantanamo Bay. The University of Oklahoma fratboy caught on camera singing a racist chant along with other fraternity members says he_s sorry. 20-year old Levi Pettit delivered an apology at an Oklahoma City church while flanked by black civic leaders.
