What is the DEAL with this man Andrea? Apparently he_s now saying he DID drug women for sex?That_s right he basically admitted it during a 2005 deposition. The docs were just unsealed followed a request from the Associated Press.So much for all the denials I guess THIS really blows this story wide open. I think it does and you can bet attorneys for the women who have suits filed against him will want to use the information. Anyway here_s what_s going on Kat. Newly released court documents show that Bill Cosby ADMITTED to buying sedatives to give to women he wanted to have sex with. The testimony dates back to a civil suit filed against Cosby in 2005 when a woman accused him of drugging and sexually assaulting her. Before settling the case the fallen comedian testified that he had given several women Quaaludes as well as Benadryl. The Associated Press successfully petitioned for the case documents to be unsealed after a flood of recent allegations from over a dozen victims.In other news Shell is set to begin a controversial project drilling for oil in the Arctic. The oil giant was granted permission from the US government back in May and has already committed 7 BILLION dollars in costs. Up to 20 percent of the world_s undiscovered oil and gas reserves could be located under the Arctic although Shell doesn_t expect to see a commercial return until 2030. Environmentalists object to the project citing the potential high-risks to the local ecosystem.And Mozambique just burned the world_s largest seizure of rhino horns and ivory in a public stand against wildlife poaching. The African country has seen its elephant population HALVED in the past 5 years by ivory traffickers while the rhinoceros has been driven to near extinction within Mozambique.
