Fantasy fans will know Pascal best from his role as Prince Oberyn in Game of Thrones... but presumably, he keeps his head this time The series set between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens follows a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy. MMA star turned actress Gina Carano is also in the cast. Hope we see them go toe-to-toe Hulu is developing a pair of TV shows based on George R.R. Martin_s Wild Cards book series. If they go ahead, these would be separate series in a shared universe. The books are set in the present... but a present where an alien virus that either kills you, deforms you, or gives you superpowers, struck Manhattan in 1946 J.K. Simmons is an Oscar winner, but he_s not passing up the opportunity to join a TV cult classic. Simmons has signed on to appear in the Veronica Mars revival on Hulu. Kidman will be playing the central character, and Grant will play her devoted husband whose past gets reexamined after he mysteriously goes missing The series will be written and run by David E. Kelley, who in addition to his many other successes, created the very popular Big Little Lies for the network Should be some premium TV Speaking of which, it_s time for our Stream This pick of the week Sick Note is about as dark as a comedy can get... which is the kind of comedy we love to import from England Rupert Grint of Harry Potter fame stars as a guy in a dead-end job who sees his life improve when he_s diagnosed with cancer Then it turns out to be a misdiagnosis... but he_s enjoying the perks so much, he pretends he_s still sick And if you still aren_t convinced, check out this addition to the second season cast Yes, Rupert Grint, Nick Frost AND Lindsay Lohan What more do you need?
