In June 2017, a group of ambitious college students, led by their professor Dr. Harper (Alexis Fawx), embarked on a weekend hike into the vast and mysterious Los Padres Forest. They are searching for evidence of an eerie urban legend that has haunted the area for decades. What begins as a simple research trip quickly turns into something much darker.
On the first night, Dr. Harper vanishes without a trace. Aidra (Aidra Fox), a determined and skeptical student, immediately suspects her classmate Cecilia (Cecilia Lion) is behind it, believing shes trying to derail the project. But as the nights grow longer, strange sounds echo through the trees, and one by one, more students disappear. Desperate for answers, Aidra and her close friend Charlotte (Charlotte Stokely) leave camp and venture deeper into the foreboding woods. Little do they know, the deeper they go, the more they awaken something far more sinister. Their final moments are shrouded in mystery-until now.
Years later, their story is pieced together from recovered video and cellphone footage, revealing the terrifying events that unfolded in those woods. What the students uncovered is far worse than any urban legend. It was never meant to be found, and now their chilling discovery will leave you questioning whether some secrets should remain buried forever.
