We_ll find out when America_s Got Talent returns this summer In our Stream This pick of the week, we all knew that Iron Fist was always going to be the weirdest of Netflix_s Marvel series The show_s taken a lot of heat for whitewashing, which is weird considering the character was always white But despite mixed reviews, I think Marvel_s done well enough so far to earn this one a try. Plus the action looks awesome It_s a Marvel series, it_s got martial arts, including an ass-kicking lady, and series star Finn Jones was a Game of Thrones regular That_s good enough for me All 13 episodes of Iron Fist begin streaming on Netflix this Friday. You don_t get that sense of discovery you felt in the first flick, and you know things can_t REALLY get resolved _cause there_s still another movie to go But star John Boyega says that_s not something we need to worry about here Obviously, a big part of this movie_s appeal is nostalgia, and it definitely rewards that. Spoiler alert: Han Solo is gone... but Mark Hamill_s Luke is very much front and center, and this is Carrie Fisher_s final Star Wars film. There_s also lots here to please a new generation of nerds, including the wonderful Daisy Ridley, epic battles and, surprise surprise, mind-blowing special effects I_m officially already bummed that I have to wait ANOTHER two years to see Episode IX But for you glass-half-full types, I_ll focus on the positive. And who could blame them? But it turns out the meat producer had a legitimate BEEF with ABCThat_s right, to the tune of a 1.9 billion dollar lawsuit So where does that stand right now?Well let_s just say that the company took a prime ribbing in the press but they_re getting the last laugh Here_s what_s going on. ABC News has reached a settlement with Beef Products Inc., the South Dakota meat producer named in the network_s infamous pink slime reports. BPI was suing for a whopping 1.9 billion dollars, claiming the ABC story misled consumers into thinking the additives known as pink slime were harmful, despite the fact that it_s banned in Canada and across Europe The company was forced to close three plants and lay off 700 workers. Terms of the settlement weren_t disclosed but you can bet your Big Mac that they_re pretty happy with the result. That trial_s over but this one_s just getting started Jim Carrey is going to court in the wrongful death lawsuit of his ex-girlfriend. The case was filed by the mother and husband of Cathriona White, who overdosed on prescription drugs in 2015. Her family claims Carrey used his wealth and celebrity status to help her get the drugs that led to her death. The actor tried to get the case thrown out, but an LA judge says Carrey should face a jury in April, when we_ll find out once and for all if he_s a Liar Liar And here_s more proof that sometimes the legal system really blows A man in Oviedo Florida was jailed for 90 days after police pulled him over, and a K9 unit found what they THOUGHT was cocaine. Well it turns out the suspect was a handyman, and the white powdery substance? Yeah, it was just drywall The man was freed last week, and the K9 team says they_ll be reviewing their field testing procedures. Let_s hope so Don_t go away.

And there was also the not-small clue that the calls reporting the fires used the same phones repeatedly but with different names And Dunkin_ Donuts is experimenting in California with calling some of their locations simply _Dunkin__ A statement by the company says that while they remain the top retailer of donuts in the country, they want to, quote, reinforce that Dunkin_ Donuts is a beverage-led brand and coffee leader. The decision on whether the name change will be adapted nationwide is set to be made late next year, but I_ve got to ask: Without the Donuts, what exactly are you Dunkin_? Food for thought. Leatherface is a prequel to horror classic The Texas Chainsaw Massacre And while this new movie does delve a little into Leatherface_s backstory, no need to worry about this being a probing psychological exploration.
