Currently the next closest show is Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, and it_s more than two hundred episodes behind The Fast and Furious movies have always had a cartoonish quality about them, so it_s only fitting that the franchise is finally being turned into an animated series It_s part of a new deal struck between DreamWorks Animation and Netflix, and it_ll follow teenager Tony Toretto - cousin of Vin Diesel_s character Dom This one sounds like it_s more for a younger audience, but we_ll find out when it arrives on Netflix some time next year A-lister Amy Adams is coming to TV... or should I say HBO She_s starring in a new limited series called Sharp Objects Needless to say it_s got plenty promise, seeing as it_s based on a novel by the author of Gone Girl, and brought to TV by a producer from Get Out The plot revolves around a reporter who returns to her home town to cover a grisly murder. Sharp Objects promises to make your skin crawl this summer Look for it on HBO in July Amy isn_t the only big name coming to television Megan Fox is making the jump to the Travel Channel She_ll be hosting a history series called Mysteries and Myths with Megan Fox Each of the four episodes will see Megan team up with experts to investigate some of history_s greatest mysteries, such as whether or not Amazon women ever REALLY existed. Megan_s never been shy about sharing HER opinions on history A few years ago she said she believes aliens built the pyramids Now it_s time for our STREAM THIS pick of the week. One of Netflix_s most divisive shows is back for a second season Dear White People is one of those shows people love or love to hate It takes an unflinching look at modern race relations on college campuses, and it can be an uncomfortable watch. But there_s no denying its sharp humor, and it really puts a new twist on cliched characters Dear White People Volume 2 debuts on Netflix on May 4th I_m Madison Banes and that_s what_s happening, Inside The Box.

Idle hands are the devil_s workshop, but idle time is costing American businesses an estimated HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS a year This according to a study from Harvard Business School, entitled The Downside of Downtime: The Prevalence and Work Pacing Consequences of Idle Time at Work. The study notes that some downtime is by design, like how a call center will keep enough people to cover PEAK demand. But this year he got the right team, too NOW they have a championshipThat wasn_t the only headline-making moment in Miami. Sunday_s race was also a goodbye to one of NASCAR_s true legends: Dale Earnhardt Jr. He wasn_t a factor during the race, finishing 25th. But he couldn_t stop being a bro In fact, Shkreli recently posted a five thousand dollar bounty for a strand of Hillary Clinton_s hair on Facebook That naturally led to a Secret Service investigation and a judge ordered the Pharma Bro jailed, ruling he posed a danger to the public. The judge also noted that a solicitation of assault in exchange for money is NOT protected speech But don_t worry, folks, I_m sure Shkreli will do just fine in prison The impact of Hurricane Irma will continue to land most squarely on Florida, but the ripple effect will touch us all. For instance, Florida_s citrus industry has been particularly devastated. According to officials, it_s estimated that there_s a 50 to 70 percent crop loss in South Florida. That_s terrible for the farmers, plus given that Florida routinely grows about half of America_s orange juice, I think we all might feel freshly squeezed for awhile. Bitcoin is having quite the year, but JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon isn_t buying it...literally or figuratively Dimon, one of the most influential voices in the financial community, attacked Bitcoin at a recent conference. Reilly, and I think Laurel and Hardy themselves would be impressed... though very surprised to be alive again For the next best thing to their resurrection, Stan & Ollie is in theaters January 11th.
