Orli Krowan flew in from SF to be photographed for the site. I first took her to this cafe in Santa Monica for some grub. She was a bit shy with the public stuff, but eased more into it later that day. But first, we trekked up to Topanga Canyon and shot at my hippie friend_s hippie cabin. Description:
This is a peek into my origins as a photographer. From now on, I will release these from time to time. 2009 is the year I decided to start hiring women for playful nude portraits with personality. I had already messed around with a camera, but now I was going to embark on a specific journey. I was inspired by Terry Richardson_s book
Terryworld which I found on the bargain rack at Barnes and Noble. His photos seemed full of fierce sexual energy that was depicted without an ounce of shame. Likewise, I was going to discard my inhibitions and focus my work on youthful female beauty. These images were taken way before the conceptualization of Zishy. The photography may have been finding its legs, but I still managed to work with some gorgeous women.
