Which reportedly has been known to disparage transgendered people and Jews. If new White House Chief of Staff John Kelly is indeed vetting Donald Trump_s tweets, it looks like he fell asleep at the switch Don_t let the name fool you: the 184th Oktoberfest is up and running The Mayor of Munich tapped the first keg on Saturday, and the beer will be flowing for the next several weeks. The damage Hurricane Irma did to the state_s electrical infrastructure was less than expected As a result, almost all East Coast customers are expected to have their power back by Sunday, and those on the west should have theirs five days later Of course, some areas hit particularly hard will take longer, but for the MILLIONS without power, it_s welcome news indeed Recovery is going to take a lot longer in the Florida Keys. According to FEMA, a full 25 PERCENT of homes were destroyed by Hurricane Irma, and 90 PERCENT experienced some kind of damage Of course, some on the ground have refuted these FEMA estimates, pointing out no official assessment had been made. And Pizza Hut is under fire for seemingly trying to discourage employees of a Jacksonville, Florida location, from evacuating ahead of hurricane Irma. The announcement to employees has gone viral. Among the bullet points on the memo, one reads in part You cannot evacuate Friday for a Tuesday storm event and says people who missed shifts would get written up Pizza Hut subsequently issued a statement saying the manager wasn_t following company guidelines, but only after many online had told them where they could stuff their crusts Don_t go away.

And there was also the not-small clue that the calls reporting the fires used the same phones repeatedly but with different names And Dunkin_ Donuts is experimenting in California with calling some of their locations simply _Dunkin__ A statement by the company says that while they remain the top retailer of donuts in the country, they want to, quote, reinforce that Dunkin_ Donuts is a beverage-led brand and coffee leader. Of course, not everything is up and running, but with tourism so essential to the local economy, getting flip-flopped feet back on the ground is considered KEY to the recovery Just when airlines had made their way off the hot seat, a new government report is set to get those buns burning once more The Government Accountability Office says that last year, airlines collected OVER SEVEN BILLION dollars in checked baggage fees and change fees ALONE And that_s about a real-dollar increase of nearly a BILLION dollars from what they collected in 2010 For that kind of money, drinks should be free... WITHOUT me having to flirt with the flight crew And if you need a cup of coffee in the morning to calm your nerves, you might not like what_s coming. If the Council for Education and Research on Toxics has its way, cups of joe in California may come with a cancer warning The group has been making their case in a Los Angeles courtroom that acrylamide, a known carcinogen, poses a real threat. The Center for Auto Safety is calling on Ford to recall their Explorer SUVs over concerns about possible carbon monoxide poisoning The recall would involve Explorers made between 2011 and 2017, over 1-POINT-3 MILLION vehicles in all In response, Ford has offered free inspections, as well as repairs that would reduce the likelihood of exhaust reaching drivers and passengers. But the company says it_s only for, quote, our customers_ peace of mind. You probably haven_t forgotten the footage of a man being dragged off a United Airlines flight back in April. But just in case you need a refresher... In an update that was probably long overdue, the Chicago Inspector General_s Office revealed that two of the security officers involved in the incident had been fired. Two others were suspended, with one of them eventually resigning.
