She_s standing by in the Naked Newsroom with America_s most HATED retailer the flu vaccine and a major court ruling against an American pharmaceutical GIANT Kat Johnson and Johnson has been ordered to pay 72 million in damages to the family of a woman who died of ovarian cancer. They claimed that that her death was caused by her use of the company_s products which contain talcum powder. 62-year old Jackie Fox died in 2015. She had used Johnson and Johnson powder products for nearly 50 years. Her case is part of a larger lawsuit filed by close to 50 women claiming the corporation knew the health risks of using talc in its products but failed to warn the public. The scientific community has been divided over the use of talc for years. Some believe it_s safe while others claim it is carcinogenic to humans. Johnson and Johnson released a statement saying its products were safe. The company plans on appealing the decision. Did you get your flu shot this season? If you did you are 59 percent LESS likely to get sick. According to the CDC this year_s vaccine has been one of the most effective in years. Because flu viruses mutate so quickly the usefulness of vaccines can vary wildly from year to year. By comparison the 2014 vaccine was only 23-percent effective. Health officials in the US urge everyone to get their flu shot every year but normally less than half of Americans actually do. And they say there_s no such thing as bad publicity but I guarantee this is the one title NO company wants. According to the American Customer Satisfaction Index the most HATED retailer in America is... Abercrombie and Fitch It_s the first time the clothing store_s ever been on the list. Abercrombie has been in flux since CEO Mike Jeffries left in 2014 and the ranking could seriously damage its recent rebranding efforts. When it came to stores customers loved Nordstrom Costco Amazon and Wegmans all had high marks. Kat can you guess who Abercrombie and Fitch displaced in the 1 spot?
